Some of these shows are very well produced. I actually found some value on them.

Another great resource to find travel nurse jobs is through Cirrus Medical Staffing. They post a variety of job opportunities in tons of U.S. cities on their Twitter account (username: TravelingNurses) and Facebook Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Cirrus-Medical-Staffing/69051166959).

Cirrus Medical also provides advice for travel nurses on their blog at http://cirrusmedicalblog.com/.

Very helpful info here! I've been a travel nurse for over 5 years and have had great success with my agency American Traveler. In this tough economy they still manage to find me great assignments. Check them out at: http://www.americantraveler.com/

I just found a great article that answered all my questions about travel nursing and bringing your family with you. My friend works as a travel nurse with Access Nurses and they wrote an article called “Travel Nursing: Bringing the Kids Along” in one of their newsletters. How perfect is that?

Another good agency is travel nurse, they offer a lot of travel nursing AND therapist opportunities. My sister just got a job through them, and she absolutely loves it. Says it was one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Nursing looks like an attractive profession, giving the opportunities to travel and get deployed in different destinations. I have a close friend who has been based in two different countries over a span of twelve years, and he can attest to the success and excitement in working in foreign lands. There's always that need for a change after a long hectic stint in just one locale!
